The multi-banking platform has reached its technical and professional limits over the years.

More and more processing processes were added. The underlying technical IT platform is based on countless frameworks and technologies, which resulted in an unmanageable complexity.

New business or regulatory requirements are difficult to implement. 

The stocktaking around the platform showed that a renewal is necessary. The focus was on build vs. buy. A professional market analysis and provider evaluation led to the decision to use a market solution as the basis for the new multi-banking platform.

The subsequent integration, adaptation and expansion of the purchased market solution was ensured iteratively and incrementally by means of a joint integration project.

The MVP ensured that the platform and the vendor were suitable for the project. The subsequent releases gradually replaced the old platform.

The 3 most important objectives could be ensured by this procedure:

1. to provide the future multi-banking platform with all its existing and additional functions, whereby the high STP rate must not be jeopardized under any circumstances.
2. all regulatory requirements have to be solved at the same time with the target solution.
3. replacement and closure of the old platform including all systems, data, contracts, etc.

In addition, many quality aspects could be drastically improved and at the same time more flexibility could be offered to customers.

The new platform now also enables new models (e.g. marketplace) in order to meet the growing customer needs even faster and better.
