Martin Zimmermann founded andrion in 2009 and has been a partner ever since. He supervises and advises important customer projects in all areas of financial services.
In 2000 Martin Zimmermann founded silion, a company specialized in software development. In 2001, silion merged with Penta Group, an IT consulting, systems and software development company. After the merger, Martin Zimmermann took over the Banking Business Development and Software Engineering divisions and served on the Board of Directors of the Penta Group until 2009, when he bought out the banking business together with Guido Meier and founded andrion together.
For more than 15 years Martin Zimmermann held various architecture and consulting positions for IT and business projects at UBS and Credit Suisse.
His responsibilities included the analysis, development and integration of new software solutions, platforms, IT models and standard applications, for example in the context of the implementation of the Swiss UBS IT platform in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Martin Zimmermann is a trained civil engineer, has an NDS as software and industrial engineer and holds an Executive Master of Business Administration.
